Softball Recap: Stuart Takes a Loss

Stuart and Caney squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Stuart had to settle for second. They took a 7-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cougars. The Hornets were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Cougars apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Stuart's loss dropped their record down to 16-6. As for Caney, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-3.

Stuart does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Caney has already played their next game (against Leedey), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
