Baseball Recap: Chamblee Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

Chamblee never let their opponents score on Friday. They were the clear victor by an 11-0 margin over Tri-Cities. Winning may never get old, but Chamblee sure is getting used to it with their third in a row.

Houston Buck made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run while striking out eight over four innings pitched. Furthermore, he didn't allow a single earned run, the first time he has blanked an opponent since back in April of 2024. He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with two RBI and one double. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in April of 2024.

In other pitching news, Cole Harrison looked comfortable as he tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in strikeouts (three).

Back at the plate, the team relied heavily on Leo Waasdorp, who went 1-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. That's the most runs he has posted since back in February. Another player making a difference was Sam Scazzero, who scored four runs and stole Two bases.

Chamblee's record is now 5-9. As for Tri-Cities, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-7.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Chamblee beat Tri-Cities by a score of 16-0 later that day.
