Softball Recap: Madison Cagle Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Davenport

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Yukon, Chandler was happy to have turned things around on Monday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Davenport Bulldogs a 4-0 shutout.

Chandler saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Madison Cagle, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.

Chandler's win bumped their record up to 23-3. As for Davenport, their defeat dropped their record down to 19-7.

Looking ahead, Chandler will venture away from home to challenge Beggs at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Lions are facing the Demons at the right time seeing as the Demons are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Davenport, they will be playing at home against Olive at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
