Basketball Recap: New Foundations Takes a Loss

New Foundations suffered their biggest defeat since January 25, 2024 on Friday. They lost 46-25 to the Central Lancers. The match marked New Foundations' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Central found their leader in sophomore Stevie Hall, who posted 18 points and four steals. Those four steals gave Hall a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Sofia Meer, who scored eight points in addition to nine rebounds and four steals.

New Foundations' loss dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Central, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a massive bump to their 7-8 record this season.

New Foundations is taking a road trip to face off against Kohelet Yeshiva at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
