Soccer Recap: Springfield Comes Up Short

Thursday just wasn't the day for Springfield's offense. They fell just short of the Nordonia Knights by a score of 1-0 on Thursday. One thing that didn't help Springfield's chances was the red card they were dealt courtesy of Seth Nicholson.

Springfield's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Nordonia, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Springfield has already played their next contest, a 1-0 loss against Manchester on the 23rd. As for Nordonia, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next matchup, a 2-1 victory against South on the 23rd.
