Soccer Game Preview: Yosemite vs. Parlier

The Yosemite Badgers will take on the Parlier Panthers at 5:45 p.m. on Friday. Yosemite will be strutting in after a win while Parlier will be coming in after a defeat.

Yosemite is headed in fresh off scoring the most goals they have all season. They were the clear victor by a 14-2 margin over Sierra on Tuesday. The victory was some much needed relief for the Badgers as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

Meanwhile, Parlier was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They lost 11-0 to Minarets. That's two games in a row now that the Panthers have lost by exactly 11 goals.

Parlier's defeat dropped their record down to 0-11-1. As for Yosemite, their win was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 4-8-1.

Everything went Yosemite's way against Parlier when the teams last played back in January of 2023, as Yosemite made off with a 4-0 victory. Does Yosemite have another victory up their sleeve, or will Parlier turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
