Academy for Classical Education is 9-1 against Lake Oconee Academy since February of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. They came out on top against the Golden Hawks by a score of 11-6. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Gryphons' hitters, who had struggled in the games prior.

Meanwhile, Lake Oconee Academy had already won nine in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 9.1 runs) and they went ahead and made it ten on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 13-3 margin over the Jaguars. The Titans might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten matchups by six runs or more this season.

Lake Oconee Academy's win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-5. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.7 runs over those games. As for Academy for Classical Education, their win bumped their record up to 17-10.
