Baseball Game Preview: Johns Creek Gladiators vs. Seckinger Jaguars

The Johns Creek Gladiators will face off against the Seckinger Jaguars at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Johns Creek comes in on four and Seckinger on three.

On Friday, Johns Creek needed a bit of extra time to put away Lanier. They won by a run and slipped past the Longhorns 3-2. That's two games straight that the Gladiators have won by just one run.

Meanwhile, Seckinger owes their pitching crew a big pat on the back after their performance on Friday. They walked away with a 4-0 win over Chattahoochee.

Seckinger got a great performance from Landon Niemotka as he didn't allow a single earned run while striking out eight over six innings pitched. Those eight strikeouts gave Niemotka a new career-high.

At the plate, Seckinger saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Aiden O'Brien, who went 1-for-2 with one double and one RBI. Another was Jin Kasuya, who scored a run while going 2-for-4.

Johns Creek's victory bumped their record up to 10-3. As for Seckinger, their win bumped their record up to 11-4.
