Baseball Game Preview: Cross Creek Razorbacks vs. Harlem Bulldogs

Cross Creek is 0-10 against Harlem since March of 2021 but things could change on Tuesday. The Cross Creek Razorbacks will head out to challenge the Harlem Bulldogs at 5:30 p.m. Cross Creek has given up an average of 19.8 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week.

Cross Creek came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 24-0 to West Laurens. The game marked the first time this year in which the Razorbacks were not able to get on the board.

Meanwhile, Harlem put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They never let Lakeside get on the board and left with an 8-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Bulldogs, who have now won eight matches by eight runs or more so far this season.

Harlem pushed their record up to 13-0 with the victory, which was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.4 runs over those games. As for Cross Creek, their loss dropped their record down to 1-5.

Cross Creek might still be hurting after the 11-0 defeat they got from Harlem in their previous meeting back in March of 2024. Can Cross Creek avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
