Softball Game Preview: Castle View Sabercats vs. Legend Titans

Castle View has won three straight games at home, while Legend has won three straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Monday. The Sabercats will host the Titans at 3:00 p.m.

Chaparral hit Castle View with a four-run second inning on Friday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Sabercats fell just short of the Wolverines by a score of 9-8.

Mary Kraus made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went a perfect 4-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one double. Another player making a difference was Preslee Dunbar, who went 1-for-3 with two runs.

Meanwhile, Legend posted their closest win since September 6th on Friday. They skirted past Regis Jesuit 15-13.

Legend's victory bumped their record up to 16-5. As for Castle View, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-13 record this season.
