Basketball Recap: Norwin Snags Eighth Victory in Last Ten Games

Norwin won the last time they faced Canon-McMillan and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Norwin Knights had just enough and edged the Canon-McMillan Big Macs out 32-30.

Despite the loss, Canon-McMillan saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Faye Saunders dropped a double-double on 12 points and 11 boards. Samantha Miller was another key player, putting up five points and five rebounds.

Norwin is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten matches, which provided a nice bump to their 12-8 record this season. As for Canon-McMillan, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-8.

Norwin has already played their next contest (against Hempfield Area), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Canon-McMillan has already played their next game, a 62-32 victory against Connellsville on the 6th.
