Preview: Livingston Wolves vs. Riverbank Bruins

Livingston has enjoyed the comforts of home their last two games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will face off against the Riverbank Bruins at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Livingston focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 33 on Tuesday.

Livingston suffered their biggest loss yet this season on Tuesday. They took a serious blow against Escalon, falling 73-26. While losing is never fun, Livingston can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 817th, while Escalon is ranked 148th).

Despite the loss, Livingston got a solid performance out of Adriana Cervantes Molina, who scored eight points along with ten rebounds.

Livingston struggled to work together and finished the game with only two assists. That's the fewest assists they've managed all season.

Meanwhile, Riverbank entered their tilt with Ripon Christian with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Riverbank took down Ripon Christian 44-25 on Thursday.

Livingston has not been sharp recently, as they've lost eight of their last nine matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-11 record this season. As for Riverbank, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 13-4 record this season.

Livingston might still be hurting after the 63-38 loss they got from Riverbank in their previous meeting back in February of 2023. Thankfully for Livingston, Livi Fernandez (who scored 16 points along with seven rebounds and seven steals) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
