Winning always takes teamwork, but on Friday Nathaniel Melgoza stepped things up a notch to give Hercules the 'W'. Melgoza wasn't messing around, scoring a run and stealing three bases while getting on base in two of his three plate appearances. The contest was his third straight with at least one stolen base.

Melgoza and Hercules will challenge Saint Mary's at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Melgoza had to take a loss the last time the two teams duked it out, losing their match back in March of 2024 11-3.
