Baseball Recap: Manchester Comes Up Short

Manchester was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 16th straight loss. They lost 19-2 to the Bowdon Red Devils. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Red Devils this season, with their most recent defeat being a 15-0 loss back in March.

Manchester saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brady Daniel, who went 1-for-2 with one run.

Manchester's defeat dropped their record down to 1-16. As for Bowdon, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 12-16 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Manchester will take on rival Mt. Zion at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Bowdon is set to challenge their familiar foe Trion at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
