Softball Recap: Waukon Comes Up Short

Waukon was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They came up short against the Cascade Cougars, falling 14-1.

Waukon's defeat dropped their record down to 2-12. As for Cascade, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season.

Waukon wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, an 11-1 loss against Edgewood-Colesburg on the 21st. As for Cascade, they have also already played their next contest, an 8-7 victory against Maquoketa on the 21st.
