Bryan County had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 14.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it five on Thursday. They were the clear victors by an 8-2 margin over the Portal Panthers. Considering the Redskins have won six contests by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

The team relied heavily on Camryn Parker, who went 1-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. She is on a roll when it comes to home runs, as she's now launched at least one in each of the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Emma Into, who went 2-for-3 with two runs.

Bryan County's win bumped their record up to 8-5. As for Portal, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season.

Bryan County will host Statesboro at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Portal, they will head out to square off against Jenkins County at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
