Football Recap: South Granville Takes a Loss + How To Watch

South Granville had lost four straight on the road, but on Friday they dropped down to 3-5 to make it five. They lost 27-7 to the Seaforth Hawks. Having soared to a lofty 48 points in the game before, the Vikings couldn't push the score so high this time.

L.J. Reid threw for 31 yards on four of 13 attempts. On the ground, Jaylen Wilkerson rushed for 71 yards.

As for Seaforth, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 4-4 record this season. A key ingredient in that success has been their performance when it comes to yards per carry: they averaged an imposing 7.28 yards per carry in those games compared to only two in the others.

Duncan Parker continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 72 yards and one TD on only six carries.

South Granville didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 16-8 loss against Orange on the 24th. As for Seaforth, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 44-39 defeat against J.F. Webb on the 24th.
