Soccer Recap: Harlan Takes a Loss

Harlan was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They lost 4-0 to the Lincoln Lynx. The contest was up for grabs at halftime, but sadly Harlan struggled afterwards.

Harlan's loss dropped their record down to 5-7-1. As for Lincoln, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-5 record this season.

Harlan will challenge Carroll at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Harlan will be up against Carroll's rather soft defense (which has allowed 3.35 goals per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Lincoln, they have already played their next contest, a 7-0 win against Jefferson on the 6th.
