Basketball Recap: Leander Comes Up Short

Leander was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 56-49 to the Hebron Hawks. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Lions of the 54-40 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in December of 2021.

Leander's defeat dropped their record down to 5-10. As for Hebron, their win bumped their record up to 7-11.

Leander didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 59-40 loss against The Colony on the 29th. As for Hebron, they have also already played their next matchup, a 65-45 defeat against Lufkin on the 30th.
