Basketball Recap: 11 Straight Home Victories for St. Mary's

St. Mary put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They took their game with ease, bagging a 61-25 victory over the Niobrara/Verdigre Cougars. The team ran away with 47 points in the first half and mostly just sat on those to pick up the win.

St. Mary's got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Gage Hedstrom out in front who posted 11 points and four steals. Hedstrom has been hot, having posted two or more steals the last eight times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of James Eby, who had 11 points.
