Football Recap: Wheaton Comes Up Short + How To Watch

The Wheaton Knights ended up a good deal behind the Richard Montgomery Rockets on Friday and lost 32-15. The Knights have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Richard Montgomery had a senior duo take command as Dylan Webster threw for 362 yards and five TDs on only 18 passes and Jaylen Garcia picked up 128 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns. Garcia's longest reception was for an incredible 77 yards.

Wheaton's loss dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Richard Montgomery, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 3-2.

Looking ahead, Wheaton will take on Watkins Mill at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Wolverines will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more points each matchup than the last. As for Richard Montgomery, they will square off against Wootton at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
