Softball Game Preview: Campbell Spartans vs. Pickens Dragons + Official Tickets

The Campbell Spartans will head out to face off against the Pickens Dragons at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

On Tuesday, Campbell got the win against South Cobb by a conclusive 16-3. The Spartans haven't had any issues with the Eagles recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Campbell got a massive performance out of Charlotte Keib, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with four RBI, two runs, and one triple. That's the most RBI Keib has posted since back in September. Harper MacDonald was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple.

Campbell was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .636. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Pickens, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They never let White County get on the board and left with a 10-0 win on Monday.

Campbell's record now sits at 11-13. As for Pickens, their record is now 15-6.
