Football Recap: West Comes Up Short

After soaring to 35 points the game before, West was a bit more limited in their game on Friday. They had to suffer through a 61-0 loss at the hands of the Seaman Vikings. The Chargers' loss continues a trend for the team, making it six in a row dating back to last season.

Josiah Wilkie threw for 50 yards on 11 of 23 attempts. Gad Munganga was his top target, picking up 27 receiving yards. On the ground, Damon Webb rushed for 54 yards.

Cale Ketter went supernova For Seaman., throwing for 280 yards and five TDs while completing 80% of his passes. Josh Brown also helped with two scores in total.

West's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Seaman, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

West didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 36-20 loss against Lansing on the 25th. As for Seaman, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 56-6 victory against Turner on the 26th.
