On Friday Minnesota Valley Lutheran take on Medford at 7:00 PM. It might come down to the wire as the MaxPreps rankings project a close contest.

Minnesota Valley Lutheran have had to suffer through a 4-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They were able to grind out a solid win over Southland last Friday, winning 12-0.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 38 points the game before, Medford faltered in their matchup last Friday. They were completely outmatched, falling 6-42 to Mayer Lutheran. Medford were in a tough position by the half, with the score sitting at 0-28.

Minnesota Valley Lutheran's victory lifted them to 1-4 while Medford's loss dropped them down to 3-1. We'll find out if Minnesota Valley Lutheran can add another positive mark to their record or if Medford can shake off the defeat and take the spring out of Minnesota Valley Lutheran's step.
