Softball Recap: Albany Find Success

Albany picked up another tournament win on Saturday. They walked away with a 6-1 victory over the North Platte Panthers.

Albany's win was truly a team effort as five different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Maddix Epperly, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Albany's victory bumped their record up to 19-3. As for North Platte, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-6 record this season.

Albany didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 10-0 win against Lafayette on the 4th. As for North Platte, they have also already played their next matchup, an 11-0 victory against East Buchanan on the 7th.
