It was a good run, but Lee County unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Thursday. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Veterans Warhawks. Having soared to a lofty five goals in the game before, Lee County couldn't push the score so high this time.

Lee County's loss dropped their record down to 10-2. As for Veterans, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-3 record this season.

Lee County will take on Lowndes at 2:00 p.m. on April 5. As for Veterans, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Perry at 7:00 p.m. on April 8.
