Softball Recap: Northside Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Win

Northside strolled into their game on Saturday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They put the hurt on the Bradwell Institute Tigers with a sharp 17-1 win. 17 seems to be a good number for the Eagles as the squad scooped up a victory with the same number of runs in their previous game.

Northside let E'Vejia Burgman and Madi Burch run wild. Burgman got on base in all four of her plate appearances with three runs, one triple, and one stolen base, while Burch got on base in all three of her plate appearances with one triple, two RBI, and one run. Burgman is crushing it when it comes to stolen bases: she's snagged at least one every time she's taken the field this season. Another player making a difference was Abigail Watson, who got on base in two of her three plate appearances with two runs and one RBI.

Northside always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .700. Their OBP was a full 0 higher than the also-impressive .556 that Bradwell Institute posted.

Northside's win bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Bradwell Institute, they are on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.
