Basketball Recap: Grace Prep Takes a Loss

Grace Prep was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 12th straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 23-14 to Meadowbrook Christian. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Meadowbrook Christian this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 43-8 back in December of 2024.

Meadowbrook Christian found their leader in freshman Kaylee Ward, who posted ten points and six boards. That's the most rebounds Ward has posted since back in December of 2024. Another player making a difference was Faith Lubold, who scored six points and seven boards.

Grace Prep's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Meadowbrook Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season.

Grace Prep wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 51-19 loss against Columbia County Christian on the 7th. As for Meadowbrook Christian, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 28-25 defeat against North Penn-Liberty on the 3rd.
