Softball Recap: Bridge Creek Takes a Loss

If Bridge Creek was riding high fresh off their 18-0 takedown of Anadarko on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Bobcats fell just short of the Norman North Timberwolves by a score of 3-1 on Tuesday. The Bobcats have struggled against the Timberwolves recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Bridge Creek saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jayden Chidester, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI. Poppi Greenwood also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.

Bridge Creek's loss dropped their record down to 19-18. As for Norman North, their win ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 15-16.

Bridge Creek does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Norman North, they will take on Edmond Santa Fe at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
