Soccer Game Preview: Chestatee vs. East Jackson

The Chestatee War Eagles will square off against the East Jackson Eagles at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Chestatee's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Chestatee took a loss when they played away from home on Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Wednesday. Their defense stepped up to hand Trion a 1-0 shutout.

Meanwhile, it was a Battle of the Birds when East Jackson took on Flowery Branch on Tuesday. The Eagles fell just short of the Falcons by a score of 3-2.

Chestatee's victory bumped their record up to 10-4. As for East Jackson, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-10 record this season.
