Elbert County had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They never let the Putnam County War Eagles get on the board and left with a 19-0 victory on Wednesday. The result was nothing new for the Blue Devils, who have now won 18 matchups by eight runs or more so far this season.

The win (which was Elbert County's 14th in a row) raised their record to 26-3. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.4 runs on average over those games. As for Putnam County, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-17.

As of now, neither Elbert County nor the War Eagles have any future games scheduled.
