Soccer Recap: Liberty County Gets the Win

After failing to score in their last contest, Liberty County made sure to put some goals up on the board against Woodville-Tompkins on Thursday. They beat the Woodville-Tompkins Wolverines by a goal, winning 4-3. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-2 last Thursday.

Liberty County hit Woodville-Tompkins with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Trey Aiello (2), Victor Perez, and Ted Handy-Joseph.

Liberty County's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Woodville-Tompkins, they dropped their record down to 0-5 with the loss, which was their fourth straight at home.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Liberty County will venture away from home to face off against First Preparatory Christian Academy at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Woodville-Tompkins, they will head out on the road to challenge New Hampstead at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
