Basketball Recap: Morse Gets the Win

Morse won the last time they faced Santa Fe Christian and things went their way on Saturday too. The Morse Tigers came out on top against the Santa Fe Christian Eagles by a score of 59-48.

Despite the loss, Santa Fe Christian still got an impressive performance from Jennifer Stanion, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and 21 boards. Stanion's evening made it three games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Piper Lenihan, who posted 11 points and seven rebounds.

Morse's win bumped their record up to 13-9. As for Santa Fe Christian, they have also traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-14 record this season.

Morse has already played their next contest, a 42-36 victory against University City on the 4th. Santa Fe Christian has also already played their next game (against Pacific Ridge), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
