Softball Recap: North Linn Victorious

North Linn posted their closest win since May 29th on Saturday. They won by a run and slipped past the Mid-Prairie Golden Hawks 9-8.

North Linn's victory bumped their record up to 14-16. As for Mid-Prairie, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-13 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. North Linn will challenge Marquette at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Defenders will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something the Lynx surely won't give up without a fight. As for Mid-Prairie, they will face off against Regina at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
