St. Pius X Catholic hadn't done well against Marist recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Monday. The Golden Lions never let the War Eagles get on the board and left with a 3-0 win. This was a revenge game for the Golden Lions: when they faced off against the War Eagles on September 11th, they had to take a 6-5 defeat.

St. Pius X Catholic's victory bumped their record up to 14-11. As for Marist, their loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-7.
