Softball Recap: Schley County's Win Ends Four-Game Losing Streak on the Road

Schley County lost to Wilcox County back in October of 2022, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Thursday. The Wildcats came out on top against the Patriots by a score of 7-4. The game was the first time the Wildcats have beaten the Patriots on their field since August 11, 2018.

Schley County's win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 2-6. As for Wilcox County, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-7.

Coming up, Schley County will head out to face off against Hawkinsville at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Wilcox County, they will challenge Johnson County at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
