Softball Recap: Lakeside Comes Up Short

Lakeside's last matchup with Woodward Academy could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's matchup on Monday. The Vikings lost 11-2 to the War Eagles. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Vikings have suffered since September 9th.

This is the second loss in a row for Lakeside and nudges their season record down to 13-13. As for Woodward Academy, the victory got them back to even at 10-10.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lakeside will square off against Midtown at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Woodward Academy, they will take on Holy Innocents Episcopal at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
