Germantown Friends skates past Frankford with ease

Germantown Friends had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 27.7 points), and they went ahead and made it four on Saturday. They took their game at home with ease, bagging a 55-20 win over Frankford. Germantown Friends' victory was all the more impressive since Frankford was averaging only 27.85 points allowed on the season.
Emma Raif and Nakyra Harris certainly did their best on Saturday to try and avoid the loss. Raif scored five points along with five rebounds and two steals, while Harris scored two points.
Germantown Friends' victory bumped their record up to 7-1. As for Frankford, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 9-4.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Germantown Friends will stay at home for another game and welcome Shipley at 5:30 p.m. on January 17th. Frankford will take on Sankofa Freedom Academy at 11:30 a.m. on Monday.
