Basketball Recap: Bucktail Takes a Loss

Bucktail lost against Neumann Regional Academy back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Bucktail Bucks took a 47-39 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Neumann Regional Academy Golden Knights. The Bucks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

It was another big night for Niyah Tutler, who shot 4-for-7 from deep and dropped a double-double on 26 points and ten rebounds for Neumann Regional Academy. Tutler's evening made it three games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points. Kallee Johnson was another key player, putting up seven points and seven rebounds.

Bucktail's defeat dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Neumann Regional Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season.

Bucktail will face off against Millville at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Millville will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Bucktail surely won't give up without a fight. As for Neumann Regional Academy, they will take on Benton at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Neumann Regional Academy will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.
