After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Dublin, Monte Vista was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They never let the Dougherty Valley Wildcats onto the board and left with a 3-0 victory. Considering the Mustangs have won three contests by more than two goals this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

The win got Monte Vista back to even at 3-3-3. As for Dougherty Valley, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-7.

Monte Vista will face off against Amador Valley at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Amador Valley is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3 goals per game this season. As for Dougherty Valley, they will challenge California at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
