Basketball Recap: Reese Cassity's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Fall River over Enterprise

Fall River lost against Enterprise back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Fall River Bulldogs took a 49-35 bruising from the Enterprise Hornets. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Fall River lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Reese Cassity, who posted 15 points. That was a full 42.9% of Fall River's points, marking the sixth time in a row she's had more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Mylah Darnell, who scored 11 points and three steals.

Enterprise's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Tianna Lowe, who went 6 of 9 from beyond the arc on her way to 18 points and five rebounds. Catherine Ahart was another key player, going 5 of 12 on her way to 14 points along with five boards and three steals.

Fall River's defeat dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Enterprise, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 7-8 record this season.

Fall River didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 50-36 victory against Redding Christian on the 7th. As for Enterprise, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 39-33 loss against Las Plumas on the 7th.
