Basketball Game Preview: James Lick Comets vs. Gunderson Grizzlies

James Lick is 1-7 against Gunderson since December of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The James Lick Comets will take on the Gunderson Grizzlies at 7:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

James Lick is headed into Thursday's matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their 11th straight game on Tuesday. They took a 38-25 hit to the loss column at the hands of Yerba Buena.

Meanwhile, Gunderson was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Tuesday as they fell 34-28 to Overfelt. The Grizzlies have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Gunderson's defeat dropped their record down to 4-13. As for James Lick, their loss dropped their record down to 2-18.

James Lick came up short against Gunderson in their previous meeting back in January, falling 38-34. Can James Lick avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
