Soccer Recap: Jasper County Takes a Loss

After flying high against Towers back in March, Jasper County came back down to earth. While the 0-0 score might suggest a draw, it was the Upson-Lee Knights who were credited with the win on Friday. The Upson-Lee Knights got it done in the shootout by posting three goals to the Jasper County Hurricanes' two. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Jasper County of the 4-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in February of 2017.

Jasper County's defeat dropped their record down to 10-5. As for Upson-Lee, their victory bumped their record up to 4-9.

Jasper County wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next matchup, a 4-1 loss against Union Grove on the 15th. As for Upson-Lee, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, a 4-0 win against Jones County on the 15th.
