It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Shawnee Mission South can now relate to. They came up short against the Olathe North Eagles on Friday, falling 28-7. The Raiders' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it four in a row.

Solomon Hirsch threw for 64 yards on eight of 16 attempts. Will Bagby was his top target, picking up 35 receiving yards.

Leading Olathe North to victory were Blaise Adger and Akobi Bruce. Adger rushed for 120 yards and three scores, while Bruce rushed for 96 yards and one TD. The Eagles are undefeated when Adger posts two or more rushing touchdowns, but 1-4 otherwise.

Shawnee Mission South's loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Olathe North, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-4.

Shawnee Mission South does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Olathe North, they will challenge Gardner-Edgerton on Friday. The Eagles will need to watch out since the Trailblazers have now posted at least 31 points in their last four games.
