Baseball Recap: Effingham County Finds Playoff Glory Versus Winder-Barrow

Effingham County extended their postseason success on Tuesday against Winder-Barrow. They came out on top against the Bulldoggs by a score of 9-4. This was payback for the Rebels, who suffered a 10-0 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Ayden Roeser looked comfortable as he tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been consistent for a while: he hasn't given up more than two walks in 13 consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Kaleb Pendley was a standout: he went 2-for-3 with two runs, one double, and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Caleb Swindle, who went 2-for-3 with one home run.
