Softball Recap: Crisp Academy Wins Going Away Against Pataula Charter Academy

Crisp Academy got themselves on the board against Pataula Charter Academy on Saturday, but Pataula Charter Academy never followed suit. They blew past the Panthers 13-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Wildcats.

Mary Margaret Gibbs was a standout: she went 1-for-2 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in September of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Kylee Odom, who went 2-for-3 with three RBI, one run, and one double.

Crisp Academy always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .615. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Pataula Charter Academy only posted an OBP of .364.

Crisp Academy's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Pataula Charter Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2-1.

Coming up, Crisp Academy will welcome Westover at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Pataula Charter Academy, they will square off against Southland Academy at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
