Basketball Recap: Encina Bulldogs vs. Forest Lake Christian Falcons
Encina was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They were dealt a 61-32 loss at the hands of the Forest Lake Christian Falcons. The Bulldogs lost against the Falcons in their previous head to head back in February of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 42-41 score last time.
Despite the defeat, Encina had strong showings from Elise Brandon, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and ten boards, and Khaliah McDonald, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 11 boards. That was a full 43.8% of Encina's points, marking the 11th time in a row she's posted more than a third of the team's points.
