Soccer Game Preview: South Range vs. Independence

The South Range Raiders will be taking part in a tournament against the Independence Blue Devils at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

South Range fell victim to Poland Seminary and their airtight defense on Wednesday. They fell just short of the Bulldogs by a score of 1-0. The loss continues a trend for South Range in their meetings with Poland Seminary: they've now lost four in a row.

Meanwhile, Independence hasn't lost a match since September 20th, a trend which continued in their latest game on Thursday. They and Berkshire finished up their match with a 1-1 draw.

South Range now has a losing record of 8-9. Independence's draw gives them a new season record of 9-6-2.
