Basketball Game Preview: Morse Tigers vs. University City Centurions

The Morse Tigers will challenge the University City Centurions at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Morse has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.

Morse saw some tournament action on Saturday. They walked away with a 59-48 win over Santa Fe Christian.

Meanwhile, University City's game on Friday was all tied up 22-22 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They lost 64-42 to Cathedral Catholic. The loss continues a trend for the Centurions in their matchups with the Dons: they've now lost five in a row.

Morse will have to contain Kami Demara as she made an impact in University City's last game. She went 6 of 15 on her way to 18 points and six boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Topanga Tusantoso, who posted eight points along with five rebounds and three steals.

University City's defeat dropped their record down to 11-13. As for Morse, their victory bumped their record up to 13-9.

Everything came up roses for Morse against University City in their previous matchup back in January, as the team secured a 54-27 win. Does Morse have another victory up their sleeve, or will University City turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
