After low-scoring totals in their previous three matchup, Central brought some dynamite into their most recent contest. Everything went their way against the Southwest Patriots on Tuesday as they made off with a 29-6 win. The Chargers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven games by six runs or more this season.

The team relied heavily on Caylin Mathis, who fired off two home runs, four runs, and one triple while going 4-for-4. Those four runs gave her a new career-high. MacKenzie Anderson was another key player, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI.

Central hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. The team has now struck out at least five batters in four consecutive contests.

Central's victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 9-10. As for Southwest, their loss dropped their record down to 2-16.

Central didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 16-1 win against Northeast on the 24th. As for Southwest, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 17-0 defeat against Dodge County on the 25th.
